After Snowfall at Rocky Mountain Arsenal
Written By Taylor Chouinard
We haven’t gotten much snow in Denver this year. So when we finally got a little bit of a dusting, I knew I needed to take a trek out to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.
What was once a chemical weapons plant is now an open space dedicated to allowing plant and animal life to thrive. Below is a collection of images from my visit, highlighting the beauty of the space, it’s proximity to Denver, and showcasing some animal friends I made along the way.
